CErytec reagents are solutions of monoclonal blood typing antibodies ready for use with slide and tube methods.

ABO System: Anti-A CErytec, Anti-B CErytec and Anti-A,B CErytec will detect the corresponding human red cell antigens. The test procedure is based on the principle of agglutination. Red cells possessing the specific antigen will agglutinate when tested with the corresponding reagent (positive test), lack of agglutination of red cells demonstrates the absence of the specific antigen (negative test).

Anti-D IgM CErytec and Anti-D IgG/IgM CErytec will detect the human red cell antigen D (Rho). Anti-D IgM CErytec does not detect all weak and partial D’s. Anti-D IgG/IgM CErytec can detect Du (weak/partial D’s) in the anti-human globulin phase and enables screening for weak Rh red blood cells in the Du test procedure with Coombs reagent.

Rhesus System: Anti-C CErytec, Anti-c CErytec, Anti-E CErytec and Anti-e CErytec are monoclonal blood grouping reagents that will detect the corresponding human red cell antigens. These reagents are suitable for use by slide, tube and microplate techniques.
