Lab21 has facilitated the market entry and patient stratification for the targeted oncology drugs cetuximab (Erbitux®, Merck Serono), panitumumab (Vectibix®, Amgen), gefitinib (Iressa®, AstraZeneca) and erlotinib (Tarceva®, Roche) by the provision of accredited, efficient and cost-effective companion diagnostics testing services to healthcare providers, as supported by the pharmaceutical partners. Indeed, Lab21 provides the majority of KRAS and EGFR mutation testing services in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East, with a growing number of customers also in other countries.

In the US, Lab21 recently signed an agreement with the South Carolina based Translational Oncology Research (ITOR) to provide molecular diagnostic support services for new initiatives in drug development and advanced cancer patient care.
